On Friday 10th February, KS2 children took part in outdoor activities and worked towards the RSPB Big Birdwatch 2017. They predicted what birds we might find on the playground and field area, then studied them in books, before carrying out a survey. The children also enjoyed observational line drawing of some lovely pheasant feathers than Lewis had brought in, then they used watercolour paints to illustrate the birds they had seen.

Pippin Class looked for birds through the window and they saw some of their favourites such as magpies, robins and blackbirds. Once all the class totals had been added together, Mrs Clements submitted the results to the RSPB.
