The children have enjoyed learning about the Shakespearean play, ‘The Tempest’.  We have analysed and discussed the play with the children having a deeper understanding of the themes and characters throughout.  The children have produced a variety of work from newspaper reports, recounts, blurbs to performing a range of drama and speaking and listening activities.

We re-told ‘The Tempest’ through freeze frame activities with group of children performing a portion of the play.  In school we are developing a display in the corridor which shows the play through drama along with other fun activities.  Please come and have a look at what we have been doing since January.
