Year 6 Leavers’ Worship 2023

Today the whole school gathered at St Mary’s Church joined by parents, governors and friends. Miss Taylor shared fond memories of the girls who have been an absolute pleasure to teach and Miss Davis presented the Governor’s Award. Year 6 children each shared insights of their time at Thorncombe as well as their ‘when I grow up’ messages. Reverend Michelle led us in prayer and the children received books from our Open the Book team to support them with their transition from primary to secondary school. Our Year 6 have been such great role models to the whole school; it was lovely to celebrate their individuality and to wish them well as they move forward for new adventures.
